The project is co-financed by the European Union and implemented by Association for Sustainable Development MILIEUKONTAKT Macedonia (MKM) from North Macedonia, Institute of Collaboration for Integration and Development (ICID) Albania and Institute for research in environment civil engineering (IECE), North Macedonia

The overall objective of the River Basin Management and Transparency (RBMT) is to strengthen CSOs capacities for involvement in the process of development of River Basin Management plans in Albania and contribute toward wider public support of RBM Plans in Albania.

In that direction the Sub granting Scheme aims: to contribute toward strengthening of CSOs capacities for involvement in the process of development of River Basin Management plans in Albania as well as to contribute toward wider public support of RBM Plans.

Expected results:

– To raise awareness and provide information sharing opportunities, for CSOs, community groups and local civil society activists to achieve equal access to information on River Basin Management plan and Transparency

– To develop and deliver a capacity building programme to CSO`s, youth and media organizations representatives on RBMP, introduction and use of Stream Visual Assessment Protocol (SVAP) and reporting cards for advocacy and in keeping local government accountable

– To develop and test Monitoring actions and preparation and adoption of report cards from community / CBOs, Youth activists and media organizations

– Using Watershed Stewardship to Build Sustainability and Community Resilience (Advocacy and watchdog activities aiming at institutionalization of consultation mechanisms between the civil society and national and local public institutions)
